~A Moment of Exciting News~

   My dad has been in the fire service for about 42 years, so I have been around first responders my whole life. I have always respected first responders and what they do, and one day I had the opportunity to work side by side with them during an emergency situation, and from that moment my respect for them grew even more. I have started a nonprofit called A Moment of Exciting News (AMEN). Through AMEN I have had the incredible opportunity to meet and partner with various first responders and first responder agencies. AMEN works to support our first responders, provide relief to families who have lost their homes and personal belongings in house fires or natural disasters, and I have even had the opportunity to work with other organizations to do fundraisers for kids with cancer. 

  As a nonprofit in the state of North Carolina, AMEN can graciously accept monetary donations as well as: 

*gently used clothes and shoes of all sizes

*household and kitchen items

*bedding

*toys

*furniture and more!

We believe that there is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ alone. God sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins. We believe that we can help you grow in your faith.
